Socialism is an ideology in which select elites hold all the cards of society for the sake of what they deem “equality” and “human decency”. Socialism aims to control the means of production, distribution and exchange under the guise of making it fair for all – never allowing one person to do better than another…except, obviously, those who are in control of it.
Socialism wants you to own nothing and be happy.
That’s why it’s extremely concerning that the new Vice Presidential pick for the Democrat ticket, Tim Walz, said just a week or so ago that “…one man’s socialism is another man’s neighborliness.” No, no it isn’t Mr. Walz.
The governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz is a radical extremist who gives illegal immigrants driver’s licenses which would enable them to register to vote under the National Voter Registration Act, signed a law that allows babies who are born alive from botched abortions to die without requiring doctors to save them, and put tampons in boys bathrooms – because apparently XY chromosomes and male genitalia also has periods.
Oh, let’s not forget the riots of 2020 in which hundreds of businesses in Minneapolis were burned to the ground and many never rebuilt. Mrs. Walz, the first lady of Minnesota, joyously recalled how she could “smell the burning tires” and how she “kept the widows open” as long as she could because it was a “touchstone” moment that was happening.
Does anyone remember the story of Nero playing a fiddle while Rome burned? Anyone? Bueller?
As riots ravaged Minnesota, former President Donald Trump offered Walz our military to help quell the riots and destruction in a May 29, 2020 tweet, and yet the governor allowed the city to burn to the ground anyway.
At the same time, the now Democrat nominee for President, Kamala Harris, promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund that bailed violent rioters out of jail.
She is also on record as saying that we should think of “what can be, unburdened by what has been”.
In a puff piece by Elle magazine, Harris said “in fact, that’s why I’ve run for most offices I have run for, because I’m not so good sometimes at asking for permission,” which makes sense since I don’t think she asked Joe Biden before taking the candidacy from him
Harris herself was raised by activist parents and as a child was “wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller with no straps with her parents and her uncle”. Her father, Donald Harris, was called a “Marxist scholar” by the Stanford Daily in 1976.
As a Senator and Vice President, Harris has shared her thoughts on many issues over the years including fracking where she said, “there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking” and offshore drilling. And on the subject of the filibuster she said “I am prepared to get rid of the filibuster to pass the Green New Deal,” yikes. Well, we already know under her own admission that she’s “not so good at asking for permission” so I imagine she doesn’t care what Americans have to say.
When speaking about the border, the border czar, a term that the left wing MSM has done their level best to memory-hole, said she is in favor of abolishing ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and that “we need to probably think about starting from scratch” with that agency.
I could go on.
I think the best way to sum Harris up is with this now deleted rating from GovTrack in which they called her the most liberal senator in the nation.
Liberal, socialist; tomato, potato – AmIRight?
What’s surprising is Harris and Walz are not the only socialists that have run campaigns in America. We are seeing an uptick in socialist candidates all over the nation, like right here in Cobb County when self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Gabriel Sanchez managed to unseat incumbent Democrat Teri Anulewicz in a surprising win in May in State House District 42.
Now Cobb County has a very serious choice – socialism or prosperity and safety. Do the people of this amazing county really want to dive headlong into socialism at the state and national level? I certainly hope not.
No matter which way you spin it – November 2024 is going to have the most radical ticket in American history.
